I haven't read the entire thread -- but what about asking Front Ranger to post about our book in the right place on Bettermost?  Maybe she already has?  Does anyone know?

We really need to talk to the folks at Bettermost and EnnisJack.

I posted one of my videos for the book at EnnisJack and they asked me to remove it because they have rules about posting 'commercial' products.

I think it would be nice for all 3 forums to come to some sort of agreement on how we want to work together.

I'm going to go ahead and ask Monica to PM Front Ranger, they are both in Denver.  I would do it but I might not be able to chat w/Lee (FR) due to leaving town, so Monica can make the case.

(Wouldn't it be cool if our link could be in someone's sig line over there?)

Can't anyone just start a new thread?  The first entry would be the press release with the link to the book web site.  Should be that easy.  New threads get started every day.

OH, you mean at Bettermost?

We could... but that's actually one of my concerns -- if you have 100 threads, that might annoy the heck out of BetterMost folk, and it isn't a very convincing way to spread the word, IMO -- since threads are started (and discarded) every day...

I don't know, though, I'll bring this up with Lee.  Thanks!

I could add to my sig at Bettermost, if you want.

Congratulations on 100 posts, goaboydc.

Thanks PaintedShoes. I had hoped that my 100th would have been a more meaningful post than praising Google.

I've been asked to do a presentation to the local gay social organization here in mid-Michigan for their April meeting.

http://www.perceptionssv.org/

They want me to bring the video for the book, the same one we watched on Oscar Night. A couple of the members were at the theatre that night.

I've never done anything like this.

One of the members is also going to help me get an article about the book published in 'Between The Lines', the Detroit gay newspaper.  I could use some help on this. I'm not a very good writer.
