For the past twelve days, the comic strip Funky Winkerbean (set in a high school) has started a prom storyline.

Each pic will have three days worth of strips.

Is the principal an allegory for President Obama do you think, Chuck?

Jess, I haven't been a steady reader of that strip, but I believe that character was around a while before Obama became president.

Just seemed rather nice that it was the black man in charge who put people straight! Cheesy Cheesy

Thanks Chuck for posting this. I'd heard about the strip's story arc but I don't have ready access to it.

This guy is a disgrace to his calling. He demonstrates everything in his speech that Christ would not have him say. I wonder which Bible he reads?

Definitely not the one I grew up on!!

It truly amazes me how these hatemongers dress up in the guise of Christianity.
Of course, I guess I should not be surprised, with so much of it around, but I still am!

Even if his crazy little fenced-in experiment were to be put into practice, I would love to be there to see his face when he discovers that gays and lesbians are still being born all across the country. How would he explain that?
