Ladies, all my life I've been surprised by women I know fairly well asking me why homosexual men want to go down on one another.

I've asked them why they would ask this question, and the answer I routinely get is a variation of this: "Yuch! I do it because _____ wants me to, but just for a minute. Aaghhhhh." Sometimes they add, "it's dirty" or a variation of that.

Of course, for we homosexual men, it's often the main course; it almost always has been for me.

I understand many women do it to please the man they are attracted to, like, or love, but I have to admit I've never yet met a woman who admitted she enjoyed doing it in and of itself. 

So, no intention to spread any propoganda.

Methinks you're hanging around with the wrong women, LOL. Of course part of any aspect of lovemaking is wanting to please the person you're with (that's part of the turn-on!), but I think it's safe to say many enjoy it "in and of itself." Perhaps for many women, though, it's not that easy to untangle the "pleasing one's partner" aspect from "enjoying it in and of itself."

I think it is just the opposite, oral sex among hetrosexuals seems to be the big thing these days.  All the high school kids are doing it, they don't even consider it sex, apparently.

For a while there every day-time talk show on the air was covering that topic.

I'm an enthusiastic member of an international fan club for the Scottish actor Gerard Butler, and we have a smaller discussion forum on Yahoo for the members in my area, the Mid-Atlantic states. This smaller group consists of about 60 members, all women, with 25-30 posting regularly, and the topic comes up often in our talk and in our fantasies. (Not to be too crude, but ever heard a group of women joking about getting a good grip on a man's thumbslots?)
