Photo Captioning Series

i was posting some of my favorite photo caption posts in the classics thread and found that there were three "series" of captions that really made me laugh.  but to find them i had to dig though a lot of other stuff.  so i thought i would put each series here, in its entirety, so that others (and myself) could enjoy them without all the effort.

if i missed any captions within any of the series sorry.  feel free to correct me.  by the way, i rarely, very rarely altered a caption by deleting an embedded personal comment.

p.s. please do not think i am expecting others to add to or "complete" this thread in any way.  it is simply here for you to enjoy.  obviously if anyone wants to add to it, feel free.  it is not "my" thread.

The Evil Sheep Series

"Be careful of the ones with the really short ears... don't turn yer back on em, they're the evil sheeps."

"Evil sheeps?  How many uh those do we have?  Christ there's gotta be hundreds a sheep with short ears.  You're just pullin our chain."

"No dammit Ennis, there's no short eared sheep creeping up behind you now keep ridin!"

[jnov]

"I got the light-furred one in my sights.  Ready for synchronized gas attack?"

[jnov]

"Jack, they got me surrounded!  And they're all fartin' at once!"

[jnov]

(Ennis, thinking) "How long can I hold my breath fer?"

[jnov]

"There! Finally caught the ringleader in the short ear sheep conspiracy!  We'll have Ennis deal with you!"

"Jack you ever wonder if all them sheep are just lyin there at night, thinking about what they're gunna do to ya next?"

[jnov]

Ennis finally comes face to face with the power of short-eared sheep to make it snow in the middle of summer.

Jack: Don't turn your back on them, Ennis!  They gonna git you!  Them sheep's been watchin' you all day.

The evil short-eared sheep rally around the coyote totem as they plan their next assault on the Light Furred One.

Then suddenly all these short ear sheep come trotting up and got me and my horse surrounded... and they just let go all at once.  I never smelled such a stink !  And that was the end of my sheep herdin' career."

You'll pa-ay-ay-ay for this. Just wait until the short-eared sheep find out!

The troops of short-eared sheep organized themselves on the plain below, ready to launch a rescue campaign.

Jack, do you ever get the feeling that one of them short ear sheep is looking at you like he knows?
And then you step out into the flock, and they're all looking at you like they know too?
