62014 refers to the piece of equipment.

1910 in the lighted window refers to the car number on this particular train ride.  The "19" means that it is train #19 on the schedule, headed from New York City to New Orleans.  The "10" designates which of the two sleeper cars this is.  The trains had car numbers 1910 and 1911 on the way down to New Orleans; and car numbers 2010 and 2011 on the way back. 

These car numbers were printed on our ticket stubs, for boarding, and were also necessary to provide for service and proper credit in the Dining Car for each meal, since Dining Car food was included in the price of each sleeping car ticket.  Coach passengers had to pay with cash or credit card if they ate in the Dining Car.

Inside my sleeping car.  My room contained a couch which folded down into a bed at night, plus another chair which wasn't used in my case, although I piled things on it.  A fold-down tray could be used to hold a book or something to eat.

Another view inside the sleeping car.  This is the sink area.  The private bathroom/shower (with its own door, so that it wasn't visible from the rest of the room) was around the corner to the right, facing the folded-up chair.  I found this arrangement much more convenient than in the smaller roomettes where the toilet and sink are combined, and are right out in the room.

The door with the curtain opens to the main hallway.  This is the larger style room, so that if the curtain on the door is pushed aside, passengers can see out the windows on the opposite side of the train.
