I'll be taking the train this week from Chicago to Ann Arbor (and back the following week).  Hopefully I'll be seeing lots of tree color from the train.

Getting ready to watch the rail journey of Obama from Philadelphia to Washington DC, recreating the last part of Lincoln's journey to his inauguration in 1861. I hadn't realized how excited I was about this train trip until just putting it on CNN a little while ago.

No, I haven't, but I have been to the station in Williams to look around, and had dinner nearby. Beautiful town, and the ride to the rim must be fantastic!

Apparently one of the Amtrak lines stops in Williams.  So if I figure out how to make the two lines intersect I'll let you know that too.
