Legal question for attorneys or ad experts only (to reduce filling up the thread with speculation): Do real names of those who have contributed to an ad legally need to be made available at some point, since it's an ad? I can't recall if that sort of disclosure is required, it may be (or may be desirable) to remove any speculation that it was done in any way with the knowledge or approval or even involvement of the filmmakers or Focus/Universal. Maybe not. Only wondering. Thanks.

It's probably not a problem to follow up just to mention the typo has been corrected, if you want to, only in case anyone prints or posts that, which is unlikely but who knows.

I'm a Los Angeles lawyer; although ads are not my area of expertise, I am unaware of any requirements that private ads of this nature require disclosure of funding sources.

i gotta hit the hay-(los angeles cowboygirlwhatever) i wonder if there is eye stigma from staring at computer screen all day while refreshing posts-grrrreat job dave-already sent ad and press release out to bunch.  i am sure you have it handled beautifully-please let us know your tv guest appearaces and sirius schedule and where we can catch you being interviewed...also upcoming articles  in newspapers and magazines.  thank goodness your little nose won't be giving you any trouble because ii have a feeling you are gonna be a busy guy-- i hope you know how to send copies of all this to focus and riverroad and all of them-it really needs to be used in their dvd advertising--also caa, etc. and how about making posters of this ad available to us and any who want to buy one- it is a truly beautiful inspiring personal piece of love in art.  xxoo karin goodnite and.......................

By 10am PST tomorrow our PR team will have sent the release to about 500 media outlets. Most of these are big city papers and gay press. We still need people to send it to web outlets (news, gay, progressive, film, anyone), magazines, and even different people at big city papers. Take initiative and send it where ever and everywhere. Just make sure the media is talking to our two contact people listed at the top of the press release. I would really love to see people send it out to as many web outlets as possible.
