Call the circulation desk and tell them you want to pre-order the March 10 issue of DAILY Variety. The cost is $6.95 (including shipping and handling) for Daily Variety. Priority shipping is available for an additional charge. You will need to specify the exact date of the issue when ordering -- the operators cannot search for the proper issue. To order, please call circulation. For Daily Variety: (800) 552-3632. International subscribers should call 1-515-247-2993.

It's easy!

Note: there are no guarantees it will be available, but they said they'll send a letter (and of course, not charge you) if they can't honor your pre-order.

I apologize if this has been addressed previously on another page, but has Gustavo Santaolalla's name been corrected on the camera-ready version being sent to Variety for printing?  I would hate to see Gus' name wrong in the publication.  Thanks and keep up all the good work!

YES!!  I can't stand that they haven't changed it in the press release link, but hopefully it's been changed for the AD

Yes could someone PLEASE verify that it was corrected for the Ad and also get it corrected for the press release link.  I practicall idolize the man, I HATE seing his name mispelled!!!!!!

Kathy, I can't find it! Even Out of Town News in Harvard Square doesn't carry it. So I placed an order over the phone, but who knows how many extras they will have. Maybe they can print more if they have all of these pre-orders?

Does anyone know if it will be posted on the Variety online page? Can we get a nice .pdf or some other version to print out and get framed if we don't get the Variety?

Now that's a great idea.  some of us are not in the USA and quite frankly the call to Variety and getting it mailed to Africa is not plausible.  I second!

My experience ordering: long on hold ... very pleasant and helpful lady took my info for an order, with no guarantees.  They won't have them until next Friday and who know how many copies.  I told her we were polling to inform publisher how many copies we planned to order and she said that might help.  Copies will be sent out a week or so after they're received ...  Cry ...

I was trying to make it short, but also chatted her a bit ... agreed she should go to 'the site', when I referred to it ... she is aware of 'who we are' and seemed genuinely interested and 'in favor' of our endeavors.  Immediately knew that our area store(s) only carried the weekly issues ... darn ...

This is like waitin' for the DVD!!

Incredible, one and all!  Bless you, Ned ... and, of course all of us.

As Dan noted 'we have been blessed'!

Emailed Presss release to:  The Globe and Mail; The National Post; Etalk Daily (CTV); Entertainment Tonight Canada (Global entertainment); Star TV; Global News - Toronto.  Now sending to Global News in Edmonton and Calgary.

If the phone No. for Variety has been posted, please post again to save time going through the pages.

You beat me to it, my Canuck friend!

lol - sometimes I'm quick.  Heaven help me if the boss or office manager find me doing this.  Oh, 14 years of doing overtime which I never get entirely paid seems a good trade.
Perhaps you can think of more.

Oh, no, I have been trying to find somewhere in Alabama to buy it, but if you can't find it in Boston, I am doomed!!!

YES!!  a PDF file would be great.  Also, a high-resolution BMP and/or JPG file so we can have frame-able picture quality copies printed for ourselves.

This is off topic, but in my email, I have a message from this internationally huge superstar band named Placebo and I haven't opened it yet because I think I'm going to die. I wrote them because my 7 year old learned to play guitar to their music. OMG I'm going to have heart attack. OK I had to tell someone.
