 Smiley  Hi everyone --

Just a note to let you know that I've received the most beautiful drawing of the DE from janie-g.  The drawing is life-like and captures the emotions of Heath & Jake as E&J exactly.  I love it; it is as if I am looking at them in person.

I had kept in contact with janie and the drawing is, as always, reflection of her love for BBM and "our boys".  I truly hope she doesn't mind my posting this.  Her artwork is beautiful.

I don't have a picture of it yet but I'm painting Jack and Ennis with acrylics right now. And I started a prismacolour drawing of them but ended up stopping because I got frustrated. I'm really OCD with my art and I'm in AP Art so if something doesn't look right to me I toss it. Only reason I have my prismacolour drawing still is because Ennis doesn't look half-bad.

Thank you =) Yeah, it won't get tossed *lol* Especially my painting. I'm too happy with my painting (so far) to toss it.

=D I finished a little mini tribute to Heath today by doing the Joker with oils. I'm gonna try to post that along with my Brokeback painting when the painting is done.

I have never posted a video link before, so not sure how, but , I  sent an ink drawing I did last year of the actor Jon-Erik Hexum, to a fan who has turned it into a video. Go to You Tube & type in "Jon-Erik Hexum artwork"
That should bring up my video. I chose the beautiful tune Sleepy Shores to accompany the images. Let me know what you think.  I know this is not BBM related, but I was so excited to see it on You Tube this morning, had to share it. Besides, Jon-Erik Hexum made a fine-looking cowboy in some scenes of Making of a Male Model.

Oddly enoough, Mr. Hexum is another hunky actor who died way too early: playing with a prop gun that was loaded with blanks, he shot himself in the head, not realizing that the force of the cotton coming out of the barrel can be lethal, at a sensitive target, anywhere within a 9' - 15' range.

Beautiful picture, Chucky! I hadn't seen such a treatment of a picture in that way before.

And yes, he was a gorgeous man. I watched that movie once, for the sole purpose of seeing him shirtless!

It's a beautiful drawing, and I like the way he made it gradually emerge.

Thank you Sason, for putting up the link. I knew I could rely on a more technologically- minded forum member to help out. And thanks too, for the above comments about the work. In order to show a gradual emerging of the drawing, I scanned the paper after about 10 or 15 minutes of work, and as you can see, the changes are rapid in the beginning, then often difficult to spot the further along the slide show gets. I hope I did justice to the face, as a face like that of Jon-Erik Hexum only comes along rarely. He was stunning. I only recently rediscovered him by watching the Voyagers series again, after over 25 years. I was kid when I last saw it.
