Jeff,

Hmmm...can't recall seeing many of those--even in big cities many theatres are mutliplexes now.  The only Marquee I remember seeing it on here in L.A. was at the Vista Theatre, an old art deco theatre that was remodeled a few years ago.  I never thought to take a picture of that and now I kinda wish I had!  Saw it at that theatre a year ago this weekend.
I'm sure you'll find one, if you're patient.

John, will it be on the Marquee of your screening in February?

You mean something like this?   YES!!

I just got an early Valentine's Day present from my hubby- and 100% goes to the SAG Foundation! How cool is THAT???
I'll post a pic when it arrives.

RE theater stuff, here is a photo of an over-the-door BBM sign, framed, that I was given after the film closed at the Gateway Theater in Ft. Lauderdale.  It's part of the living room wall collection.
Let me reiterate the offer -- the shrine is open for visitors to south Florida.  Just let me know you're in town!

I'll be at Gay Days at Disneyworld in Orlando in June.  Me thinks I should make a quick side trip to see Rodney.  Grin

That is nice Lalaynia, and kudos to your husband!

Too bad SAG wasn't as charitable to BBM last spring...

Does anyone know if the theatrical trailer for BBM will be included on the upcoming "Collector's edition?" If not, where can I get the trailer, and any ads for BBM on DVD? I don't want to dl/watch on my computer...I want the dvd to show on my widescreen television. Can anyone provide info?
Thanks.

The advertising for the upcoming DVD release doesn't mention any trailers, sorry. As to where you can get them, I'm not sure - check the official brokeback website, YouTube, Google Video (does it still exist?) - maybe some one else can help you here, I'm not sure at all !!

The trailer is included as part of the excellent Charlie Rose interview with Ang Lee and Heath Ledger. It is available on DVD, probably from amazon. Can someone else tell jeff where he can get this show, which is well worth watching for its own sake?

While this comment is totally OT, i am soooo happy you will be at the BBQ Charlotte!

We had a BBQ Comittee meeting tonight,  and I found out while looking at the YES list.

To keep the post ON-T, we [ the BBQ Crew ] are busy thinking about what sort  of BBM souvenirs to get you all  come memorial day: not a one of which means as much to me as the one YOU sent me and the wife.

In the next week or so I'll be posting some goodies I've gotten recently: several photos not only signed but inscribed, and a DVD with multiple signatures from Heath and Jake. The bad news is that because I only paid $60 for this admitted treasure, I did not get the signed CD (bidding over $120), the DE photo inscribed TO THE AUCTION WINNER--$200 winner--or any of the "assorted stuff," over $250.

Still, the DVD is what I wanted, and I got that. Pictures to come!
