sfericsf, I'm just simply overwhelmed at your incredible collection.  That billboard is truly awesome, and you have my heartiest congratulations on acquiring it.  Love all of the pictures you posted, especially the one with you (in your BBM jacket) sitting with the boys on the mountain.  I'll be taking my BBM jacket with me to the cold land of the midwest for the holidays, along with boots and Stetson.  Hope you'd be up to showing your shrine if any of us just happen to be in the Bay area, which I do from time to time.

All best,
Rodney

That billboard is amazing. I'd say you're so lucky--but you made your own luck in that case! Congratulations! It's not work when you love what you're doing…

Friends, I need help

I ordered the calendar from ebay last September and it was never delivered. The London office does not answer my emails and has been on voice-mail for weeks.

I want to buy it from somewhere else, but Amazon seems to have run out. Any ideas of where I can get it from?

Just type in Brokeback Mountain into the search box and it will come right up.

Here it is, everybody!  The creel case and the net have finally been reunited here in South Florida -- the crowning jewels of the collection:

Looks great Rodney!

I have to come down there someday wearing my blue shirt.

I'd love to get a pic similar to this:

hey..this is a cool thread. I have been accumulating industry ads..i wanted to place them in a binder. However, I need help...I live in a small Ohio city where BBM played only in a mutiplex last year...so the words "Brokeback Mountain" were snuggled within a list of 10 other movies. I wanted a picture of "Brokeback Mountain" alone on a marquee of a large stand-alone theater..kinda like one sees whenold movies like "Sound of Music" or "Gone with the Wind" were showing...with all the flashing lights, and maybe even a cutout of a scene from the movie on the marquee next to the title. Perhaps, thats how it was at the large city (Los Angeles. NYC, etc). Does anyone have such a picture? I would like to purt it on the cover of my BBM notebook.

You can send me an email here. Thanks..or give me an email or site to contact. Thanks again.

Jeff,

Hmmm...can't recall seeing many of those--even in big cities many theatres are mutliplexes now.  The only Marquee I remember seeing it on here in L.A. was at the Vista Theatre, an old art deco theatre that was remodeled a few years ago.  I never thought to take a picture of that and now I kinda wish I had!  Saw it at that theatre a year ago this weekend.
I'm sure you'll find one, if you're patient.

John, will it be on the Marquee of your screening in February?
